Taking reservations again (2/28/08)


I have been providing the truck to the local community for almost a full year now. I jumped in head first without any sponsors and funded the whole project out of my own pocket to get it started. The idea was to offer my time to organize, book, maintain and service the truck lending and to have referrals of users overtime pay for the truck.


Unfortunately the referrals have not materialized which animated me to change the rules for borrowing the truck.


  1. 1)Non-profits: I love to help you out whenever I can, no strings attached. This is the best use of the truck! Use throughout the Roaring Fork Valley

  2. 2)Past and current clients: No limitation on use. I have helped move a piano from Kansas to Aspen

  3. 3)Future clients: If you commit to being in this category then I am happy to have you use the truck

  4. 4)Referrers: If you do not fall into any of the above categories then I would expect to be put in touch with one person interested in real estate. This has no time limit, but I will stay in contact with you.

  5. 5)If you are another Realtor’s client and you can not commit to any of the above categories, then please ask your Realtor for his truck.

Reservation Procedure:

1) The truck is for LOCAL use. 45 miles +- from Aspen (Aspen to Glenwood). Non-profits might get exceptions to this rule. Please respect this requirement. The truck has been used for 10,000 miles of moving in the first 3 months and it really is meant to be a Local truck for LOCALS. It is always hard for me to say NO, so please do not put me on the spot.

2) Look at the Truck Calendar to check if the Truck is available

3) Send me an email with the date and time frame you would like to “borrow” the Truck

4) Call me to alert me to the email and to say Hello , (970) 948-1612

5) Arrange a time to meet me at Sotheby’s International Realty, 315 S Galena Street, Aspen to fill out the paperwork. This should be done at least 3 days BEFORE the rental date.


The Truck Calendar is reflecting the truck “rental” schedule. If a time slot is open you will be able to borrow the truck. Then download the “rental agreement”, fill out the details and bring that with to your appointment with me
